Fish stocks in the Mediterranean Sea are deteriorating at an alarming rate. 41% of its marine mammals and 34% of the total fish population has been lost over the last 50 years.

On March 20, 2018 we organized a public talk at Tota Beirut about which fish to eat and which to avoid to support our ecosystem and conserve endangered species.

On February 26th, 2019 we hosted another event at Tota titled How Smart Seafood Can Save the Sea to educate people about the lionfish and other invasive fish, and the devastating effects they will have on our ecosystem, while informing them about the variety of fish we have in Lebanon.
