Vision
A world where the Ocean is not a mystery. Diaries of the Ocean motto is: How inappropriate to call this planet Earth, when it is quite clearly Ocean.
Diaries of the Ocean leverages the following in order to achieve its mission and vision:
- Through providing research on hot marine topics,
- Through providing a platform for dialogue, information-sharing, coordination and cooperation on pressing marine concerns,
- By promoting knowledge and awareness-raising at local, national and international levels to empower individuals and groups to better engage and drive change.
What we do
Diaries of the Ocean is a women-led team of marine biologists, environmental scientists, activists, entrepreneurs and artists who carry out awareness raising campaigns for local communities about marine life, help with marine conservation actions, and facilitate advocacy and coordination between various actors in the industry.
